My Thoughts ARE Prayers

When first introduced to the Science of Mind, I was also introduced
to a song by Eric Hansen, some of the words are:

Our  thoughts are prayers, and we are always praying.

Our thoughts are prayers, listen to what you’re saying.

Seek a higher consciousness, a state of peacefulness.

And know that God is always there.

And every thought becomes a prayer.

Our thoughts are prayers, the tools that we create with.

The words of this song, sung every week, burned a message into my mind that superseded the spoken lessons. Learning how to use my language to create my world transformed my life. But so many lessons also came in the form of music.

These songs were the prayers that formed me. Thank you to Rickie Byars for your inspiration. Her songs left an impression on my mind and my heart.

Take a listen:

Use Me, by Rickie Byars

We Let It Be, by Rickie Byars

Wholly Holy Way, by Rickie Byars

Find your words. Find your music. Find your vibe and dance to it, every moment, every day.

When we include our heart and inspirational vibrations, we are carried to a new experience.

It doesn’t have to be religious or spiritual; it can just be fun. Here are three more that make me move and sing and rejoice. Go ahead, try and sit still.

Can’t Stop the Feeling, by Justin Timberlake

Freedom, by John Batiste

Hey, I Love You, by Michael Franti

And from my beloved friend, my favorite of all time:

Love is in the Room, by Ty Stephens

You are the evidence of a prayer that you already prayed, even if you do not know that you prayed it. Let us commit to becoming more conscious of our thinking indulgences because if all thoughts are prayers, being conscious is the only answer there is.

Big conscious love to you! DANCE!
