Bathed in the Vibration of Love
Friday night I was catapulted back into my youth, surrounded by friends, men with guitars, and talent pouring forth from loving individuals. This was my Friday evening, made possible because three beautiful beings came together to rehearse for our up-coming retreat.
I host these rehearsals to make it easy for all involved who are trying to make this retreat wonderful, of course I made dinner because I must feed people, it is what I do. But after dinner, I sat on my couch, my crocheting in hand and bathed in the vibration of love in the form of music. It was a magical evening. I went to bed feeling like I was twenty years younger and very much alive.
That is the beauty of music, especially when it is live. I witnessed these brilliant beings talk to each other and work to get out of the way so they could meld, it was stunning. Music, art, cooking, horticulture, writing, outdoor anything are all ways to stimulate the mind and the body to feel so incredibly alive.
Your health is intimately connected to your self-expression. The music that we experienced was more then enjoyable, it was healing because I was able to lose myself in the sounds. Do yourself a favor, find your vibe. Maybe its not music, maybe it is coloring with crayons. If you can lose yourself in the activity and get present to the moment, then it is something that will benefit your health.
Find your vibe, your expression and lean into it to find balance in your life. You deserve to experience a well-rounded life. Find your vibe, and now I mean tribe, that will present opportunities to feel joyful and alive, or create your own tribe based on your vibe. Being surrounded by people who ‘get you’ is good for your health and your sanity.
I am blessed to know that this weekend I will be bathing in the beautiful and rhythmic sounds of Ty Stephens, Clive Smith, and Ray Adkins. I expect healing in a deep and profound way.
